A small team.
A structured system.
Software that ships.

Legacy Logik is a technology company building lean, AI-assisted B2B software. We build for operators in any sector, with deep specialization in real estate and property, and run every product in production ourselves so it ships disciplined and scalable, with minimal overhead.

// the thesis

A small team can outbuild a department: if the system holds.

Legacy Logik was founded by Akil, Malcolm, and Raymond Franklin on a single operating thesis: that a small, disciplined team equipped with the right systems can build and operate a portfolio of scalable software products, without the complexity, cost, or overhead of a traditional development organization.

We build lean software for specific industries, and we have built the disciplined internal systems that let us do it fast without losing rigor. The result is a company that moves fast without moving carelessly, and that builds institutional knowledge into every system it ships.

how we build

Structured, phased, validated.

Click a phase. Every Legacy Logik product moves through these five stages. We scope before we build. We validate before we ship. We document before we hand off.

01Scope+
Defined intake. We start with a written scope, a problem statement, and a constraint map. Nothing leaves this phase without sign-off.
02Architecture+
Stack picked, data model drawn, decision log started. Architecture is documented and approved before any code is written.
03Build+
Phased implementation in reviewed cadences. Every change is reviewed and gated before the next phase begins.
04Validate+
QA matrix run before any handoff. We deploy to a Legacy Logik production environment and run the product ourselves first.
05Operate+
Documented handoff with runbooks, ops dashboards, and on-call protocols. The system survives without us in the room.
Fixed scope
Validated in production first
Documented handoff
Built to last
// how we stay fast and safe

Discipline is
the product.

We move fast because the process is tight, and we keep it safe because nothing ships unreviewed. Every engagement is scoped before we build, validated in our own production environment before it reaches your customers, and documented so it survives the handoff.

That's how a small team delivers like a much larger one, without the overhead.

operating principles

Six rules that govern every build.

01

Build small first.

Every product starts as a lean MVP. Define the smallest version that delivers real value, ship it, validate it with real usage, and expand from there.

02

Validate before you scale.

We always build and run every product in our own production environment before deploying it to clients. If we have not validated it ourselves, it does not ship.

03

Avoid complexity.

When two solutions exist, we take the simpler one. Complexity compounds. A lean, well-documented system beats a sophisticated one no one can maintain.

04

Document everything.

Every decision, every architecture choice, every build phase: documented. Systems survive handoffs, scale without tribal knowledge, and stay maintainable as we grow.

05

Validate before it ships.

A full QA pass and a run in our own production environment before anything reaches your customers. If we have not proven it ourselves, it does not go out.

06

Systems beat heroics.

Repeatable processes outlast individual effort. We build systems that work without depending on any single person's memory, availability, or heroics.
